RevoluSun’s birthday marks milestones and evolution of solar industry
HONOLULU —RevoluSun, Hawaii’s premier solar company, recently achieved several major milestones, and is throwing a beach cleanup party on July 11 at Sandy’s to celebrate. Hawaii’s leading solar design and installation firm will celebrate its sixth birthday, the connection of more than 5,500 RevoluSun customers to solar power and its successful evolution into a one-stop shop for energy efficiency and sustainable lifestyle home products. RevoluSun Smart Home is a curated collection of home improvement products that make Hawaii’s homes more economical, comfortable and healthy.
“When we started RevoluSun our mission was to create cleaner, smarter solar communities across Hawaii. This month, as we mark our 5,550th customer, we are pleased to see our systems and products installed all across Oahu and the neighbor islands. Our efforts are helping Hawaii wean itself away from fossil fuels, and our clients collectively save over $17 million a year on their electricity bills,” said Eric Carlson, RevoluSun Chief Innovation Officer.

RevoluSun’s innovative headquarters and Smart Home showroom at 210 Ward Avenue provides a new kind of educational experience. Open to the public, contractors and architects, RevoluSun has created a dynamic space to learn about smart home solutions like PV hot water, whole house fans, natural lighting solutions such as skylights and sun tunnels, high efficiency pool pumps, electric car charging stations, home automation and energy management, and smart home security. RevoluSun holds regular, free Smart Home seminars on the second Wednesday and third Saturday of every month.
JOIN REVOLUSUN AT SANDY BEACH ON JULY 11!
Just two weeks after opening the doors for business in 2009, RevoluSun held its first Beach Cleanup with the Hawaii Surfrider Foundation, resulting in 900 pounds of trash removed from the Sandy Beach shoreline. This is a tradition that continues annually. For the sixth year in a row, RevoluSun has partnered with the Surfrider Foundation’s Oahu Chapter for the Sandy Beach cleanup, which will be held July 11th, from 10 a.m. to noon. The public is invited to come down and help clean up Sandy’s. Volunteers will be rewarded with a commemorative T-shirt and free lunch hosted by RevoluSun.
