Kailua 4th of July Parade
The RevoluSun team encouraged Kailua to “Declare Your Energy Independence”
RevoluSun has participated in the Kailua 4th of July Independence Day Parade every year since we opened our doors in 2009. With an average of 30 RevoluSun Team members, a seven-car vehicle parade entry, and the support of 15 Kalaheo High School cheerleaders (RevoluSun donates $1,000 every year to their team for their participation), we share the message of energy Independence and hand out stickers, sunglasses, sunscreen, and reusable shopping bags to all the spectators!
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
The RevoluSun team at the race.
RevoluSun is committed to creating cleaner, smarter communities that embrace the move away from dirty fossil fuels. That starts here in Hawai‘i, our home. From teaching the next generation about clean energy through our work with the Kokua Foundation, to our community education seminar series, to cleaning Hawai‘i’s beaches, community service is a responsibility we take seriously. By joining the RevoluSun, you can feel good knowing that your contractor of choice is giving back to the community. By joining the RevoluSun, you can feel good knowing that your contractor of choice is giving back to the community. It’s fun – and important!
In 2010, RevoluSun partnered with the Kokua Hawai‘i Foundation as the official Solar Sponsor of the Keiki Kokua Day. Together with Keiki Kokua Day partners Bill Healy Foundation, Simple Shoes, and Stretch Island Fruit Co., we’ve created a special event to recognize the work Hawai‘i’s students have done to mālama (care for) our islands.
A few of the highlights of the Keiki Kokua Day celebration include:
- Presentation of Certificates of Achievement to each student group
- Performances by Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, and Jake Shimabukuro
- Sharing and exchange of videos and experiences among groups
- Interacting with Keiki Kokua Day partners and other nonprofits at their booths in the Kokua Village
- Students received Kokua Festival reusable tote bags filled with a special edition EcoUsable™ water bottle, healthy snacks, and other educational materials donated by Keiki Kokua Day Sponsors
