How We Quote Your AC System: No Gimmicks, Just Precision

Let’s face it—getting an AC quote can feel like pulling teeth. One contractor gives you a lowball offer with zero detail, another throws jargon at you until your eyes glaze over. At RevoluSun, we believe in making the process simple, transparent, and tailored to your home.
Here’s how we do it.
We Start with a Room-by-Room Assessment
No cookie-cutter pricing here. We evaluate every room you want to cool—bedrooms, living areas, kitchens—and calculate the required BTUs (British Thermal Units) based on:
- Room size (length × width × height)
- Insulation (walls, ceilings, attic space)
- Window types (sliders, jalousies, etc.)
- Open spaces vs. closed rooms
- Sun exposure and airflow
Example: A 24′ x 15′ bedroom with 8′ ceilings = 2,880 cubic feet. Multiplied by 45 (our heat load factor), that’s 16,200 BTUs. We round up to the next size—usually 18k BTU—for proper cooling without overworking the unit.
We Design for Hawaii Homes
Our team has decades of experience installing systems in single-wall, double-wall, post-and-pier, and concrete homes across the islands. We understand how to plan for open-beam ceilings, lanais, and the unique airflow challenges of local architecture.
We Consider HOA Rules and Permitting from Day One
Have an HOA or tricky setback restrictions? We’ve seen it all. From hiding compressors from street view to running slim duct along approved paths, our quote includes all compliance planning so there are no surprises later.
We Recommend the Right System Type
Whether it’s a wall-mounted split system for a few rooms or a fully ducted central AC system for the whole house, we recommend the best solution for your needs—not just the most expensive option.
We’ll also walk you through the pros and cons of inverter technology, zoning control, energy savings, and indoor air quality upgrades.
We Break It Down in Plain English
Your quote will include:
- System size and layout
- Equipment type and brand
- Electrical needs
- Air quality add-ons (UV, iWave, MERV 15 filter cabinet)
- Installation scope
- Warranty coverage
All itemized. All upfront. No mystery charges.
