About the Role

RevoluSun is hiring Solar Technicians across three tracks. Choose the path that fits your skills and interests—each role plays a vital part in delivering reliable solar and battery solutions for Hawaiʻi homes and businesses.


Role Options

Remote Solar Technician

What You’ll Do

  • Remotely monitor and troubleshoot residential PV and battery systems.
  • Support field crews with diagnostics and commissioning.
  • Use platforms like Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla to track system performance.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and communicate clearly with team members.

What You’ll Need

  • 1+ year experience in solar, electrical, or tech support.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with monitoring tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable internet and a dedicated remote work setup.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with common monitoring platforms.
  • NABCEP certification or solar field background.


Residential Field Solar Technician 

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot PV systems and complete monitoring setup.
  • Ensure safe job sites and follow PPE and safety protocols.
  • Communicate with project managers and homeowners.

What You’ll Need

  • 1+ year in construction, roofing, or electrical.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on roofs.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-tool proficiency.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice to Have

  • NABCEP certification.
  • Experience with Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla.


Commercial Field Solar Technician

What You’ll Do

  • Commission and maintain commercial PV systems.
  • Perform AC/DC wiring, conduit bending, and system testing.
  • Ensure code compliance and coordinate with inspectors.
  • Mentor apprentices and lead by example.

What You’ll Need

  • Hawaiʻi Journeyman Electrician license (preferred/required).
  • 5+ years in commercial or residential electrical work.
  • Familiarity with PV wiring, stringing, and NEC code.
  • Strong leadership and safety awareness.

Nice to Have

  • NABCEP certification.
  • Experience with SMA, Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla.
