Customer Service Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Operations team in Honolulu. The successful candidate will be a focused leader and problem solver for our company. We are looking for someone who can mitigate existing customer issues as well as develop processes to minimize issues before they become problems. A large part of the role will be providing telephone and email based support to our current customer base. Topics will range from technical support with monitoring issues and panel functions, billing questions, scheduling support and everything in between. 

Your typical day as a Customer Service Specialist will be spent at the job site performing the following duties:

  • Provide technical, billing and general support to all of our customers

  • Be the liaison between multiple departments in order to find solutions

  • Follow issues through to completion with little or no support

  • Develop processes and bring recommendations to management team to improve customer service

  • Track and analyze customer service issues and communicate recommendations and updates to all other departments

 Successful Customer Service Specialist Candidates Will Have: 

  • World-class customer service skills

  • Ability to manage a large flow of work independently

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Competency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software

  • A positive attitude and the ability to take direction well

  • Experience in customer service and/or solar preferred

 This full-time position is for our Honolulu Office; no relocation.

 

Photovoltaic Journeyman Electrician

Electrician Job Responsibilities

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for leading electrical teams and ensuring that our solar installations are completed with the highest level of attention to workmanship and safety. In addition to the skills and experience outlined below, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the solar industry, is a team player, whose values are in line with our own and who has the ability to learn and follow our processes.

Your typical day as an Electrician will be spent at the job site performing the following duties:

  • Installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems.

  • Leading the installation of electrical systems that interconnect our solar systems to the grid.

  • Ensuring electrical work performed by your team’s electricians is flawless workmanship and compliant with the current National Electrical Code as well as other relevant local codes.

  • Acting as on-site supervisor for electrical teams and provide regular reports of team activities to electrical managers.

  • Troubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issues.

  • Working with local inspectors to meet and satisfy local requirements and expectations.

  • Training, mentoring and developing apprentices.

  • Testing electrical systems (electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures) to ensure compatibility and safety of systems

Journeyman Electrician Requirements

To be considered for our Electrician opportunity, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

  • Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work

  • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding

  • Ability to bend conduit

  • Understanding of string configuration

  • Ability to complete voltage drop calculations and be familiar with amperage ratings as they relate to sizing wiring

Required Experience and Certifications:

  • Active Hawaii Journeyman license

  • 5+ years of residential or commercial electrical experience

  • Experience installing/stringing electrical cable or wiring

  • Experience installing electrical apparatus

  • Experience executing terminations and AC tie-in.

  • Solar experience preferred, but not necessary. We will train the right candidate!

Photovoltaic Maintenance Worker

PV Maintenance Worker Responsibilities
RevoluSun offers comprehensive maintenance of photovoltaic solar systems. PV  Maintenance Worker duties include panel cleaning, visual inspection and technical evaluation of system performance. In addition to the skills and experience outlined below, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the solar industry, is a team player, whose values are in line with our own and who has the ability to learn and follow our processes.

PV Maintenance Worker Requirements
The PV Maintenance Worker must

  • be a self starter, dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • be able to lift 50 lbs above his/her head

  • be in good physical condition

  • be comfortable on a roof

  • have a clean driving abstract

  • be able to communicate with clients in a professional manner

Photovoltaic Technician
(PV Tech)

PV Technician Responsibilities
The PV Technician is responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting new PV systems and replacing micro-inverters. The PV Technician must

  • have technical experience and/or aptitude for computer electronics

  • be a self starter, problem solver, and able to work independently

  • be able to communicate with clients in a professional manner
