Solar Charging Station Program
With climate change and Hawaii’s hurricane season upon us we had an idea to help our community. If Hawaii’s grid goes down during a natural disaster, the grid could potentially be down for days, weeks or even months. During extended grid outages solar systems will continue producing energy and batteries will store power.
You may have already invested in a solar + battery system, but some of your neighbors may not have. The idea is to help your community by letting them know that in a time of need, they can charge devices at your neighborhood solar charging station.
Here’s the deal
The first 100 people with PV and battery systems on their home, who register to provide this service to their neighborhood during an extended grid outage, will receive a $100 gift card and a Neighborhood Solar Charging Station yard sign — and, if needed, an extension cord and an outdoor rated power strip.
This is a brand new program, it may take 4-6 weeks to deliver the package, and registrations will be handled in the order they’re received.
No purchase from RevoluSun is required to participate in this program; we’re doing it as a community service and to call attention to the resiliency resources that are rapidly deploying across Oahu. Participants must be the owners of the solar/battery system and live on Oahu.
